Tennis Courts
A game of tennis can be enjoyed in a serene setting with plenty of trees providing ample shade to the courts without making it too windy, while cutting out all unwanted outside noise and disturbances. There is hardly a wrong bounce in the perfectly laid court surface.
There are 2 top class synthetic hard courts and 3 clay courts at the Madras Club. Spectators can comfortably sit in the area around the courts and watch the game being played. The hard courts can be used all year around and with the floodlighting provided, enables members to continue their play once the natural light has faded.
Timings: The courts are open to members in the morning from 6:00 am to 9:00 am and in the evening 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Bookings for the courts can be done in the gazebo at the tennis courts with the markers-in-charge.
Coaching: For those who want to give tennis a try or for those want to brush up on their tennis skills, coaching is also provided on the clay by well experienced coaches.
